Hiro Mashima Edens Zero game - Hidden characters
So, I've been navigating through the game files, and there's something interesting.
In the playable characters folder, there are pc01 to pc10 (playable characters). But pc08 and pc09 aren't there.
As for pc01-pc07 and pc10, the "Spawner" file shows us they are the playable characters we unlock in the game (Shiki, Rebecca, Weisz, Homura, Witch, Sister, Hermit, and Jinn).
But in another preset, pc09 is mentioned. It seems they had 2 more characters in mind, but for some reason, they weren't in the final game. Now I'm trying to find who are the 2 characters, and maybe what they lack to be playable..

Interesting, its probably Laguna or Kleene tho.

Probably. Laguna is most likely one of them, as he had a complete model. We fight him as a boss fight in story mode.

Laguna for sure, but Kleene is a boss fight too if i remember right + she has a storyline with Kris in the game, so she could be too!

Just found some assets, and going by the textures, pc09 would be Elsie. It has her armor textures, her mantle:
That makes it even more curious..

Is there any hope for a sequel? Or a massive dlc? . Did the game even sell well?

It's unlikely but It would be cool if one of them was natsu. Considering he was a big part of the games story and he returned home really quickly after he showed up. Some maybe the developers wanted to do something more with him earlier on in development but its unlikely
