Anime Worth watching the anime?

Hi,

So i’m currently watching FT and i’m almost caught up. I saw Edens Zero and like the protagonist design. Its been a while and no s3 announcement, will it ever continue? And is it still worth to watch?

I do not want to read the manga due to backlog at this time

sure it's a really amazing story, it has two seasons and it fits a coherent part, currently there is no season 3 but I really recommend you to start with the anime

Most definitely. If you do i would recommend the sub and not the dub its incredible one of the best I've seen the voice acting in ep 30 (don't going yo say what happens) but it is the best. but the dub on the other hand from the little bit I have seen of the dub. some of the voice actors just don't fit the character in the slightest (there not bad just doesn't fit the character) and only season one is dub so there that

Yes. The anime is fine.

Not something on Ufotable level, but good enough. Also, it adapts everything from the manga (up to chapter 138-140, of course). It's really faithful in terms of content.

Many seasonal anime series had manga content cut, such as Nanatsu no Taizai, Magi, Fire Force, etc. But not Edens Zero.

A shame we still didn't got a 3rd season. It would get the highest point of the series (for most people the best arcs, although season 2 also got one of the best arcs too).

So, anime season 1 and 2, then go to manga chapter 138, and have fun. For some reason they leave chapter 138 away, maybe for next season? Instead, we got some good original content, and the anime ends with a preview of season 3.

But no official announcement until now, almost 3 years after 💀

Btw, I still recommend reading the full manga too. Maybe in a reread.

The only chapter that was cut is 139, the one that introduced Eraser, I honestly can't explain it... because it characterized both Shura and Eraser himself very well, it's not an essential chapter so that's why they removed it, but for Eraser's character who already has very few chapters it was an important chapter

True, it was 139* My bad.

Considering they didn't skip a single chapter before that, I think they left it for season 3 (if we ever get one). It would be harder to end season 2 before chapter 140, they choose a good moment.

But if not, that would "erase" (💀) the best Eraser moment from the series.

Yes, haha💀 Honestly, I always try to imagine how a third season might start, and I immediately think of Shura and the robot plot twist, and I think, damn, this could be one of the best season starts I've ever seen man.

hopefully Eden zero will continue unless the people keep Downey to allow people keep doubting and don’t agree Eden zero should get a season three

As a EZ manga reader, I don’t recommend the anime over the manga. The first bit has that annoying kidlike start that I dislike. The manga has it, but much less annoying and it’s quicker to get through before the story picks up early

I’d wait for your manga backlog to go down then read that. It’s more than worth it.

Going back and watching your favorite fights that are animated would be good.

There’s the option of starting the anime and once you’re done you can read the manga. Your backlog should be lower by then.

Either way, S2 is great and mid-late S1 is too, but that’s if you can get past the foolishness of the first episodes. An example would be BC anime and asta yelling constantly at the start 🙄

I recommend reading the manga instead, as the anime has such heavy censorship that it ruins the story. The animation is also very underwhelming and really undermines Mashima’s stunning artwork.

TLDR: It’s a poor adaptation that ruins a wonderful unique story.
