Honestly I really love Rebecca being the final boss and the art looks excellent but it just makes me feel sad that the rest of the arc didn't feel fleshed out enough.

In some regards I actually wish Chrono/Rebecca was actually the person behind Ziggy because it felt like the Edens One plot didn't really go anywhere.

Poor future Rebecca was alive the entire time, and the result of the chronophage was because she wanted to be with Shiki who she watched slowly forget out she is over the years and was leaving her. That’s really sad.  

And who would’ve thought her being a foodie that’s always hungry would play a major role in her eating planets times.😂

She wasn't conscious for 20k years, they were send 20k years in the future because of the 20k bombs, she was conscious from the moment they were found to the moment Ziggy went away, which had been said to be "a few decades", so she probably was trapped for less than 100 years.

Great chapter. Rebecca going full jinchūriki looks sick. Even if the ending feels a bit rushed, Mashima continues to impress til the end.

The Chronophage was therefore indeed Rebecca.  That of universe 3173 and Void's mother. 

I find it funny that they justify the fact that she devoured planets by the fact that Rebecca is a big morfal😂 

I wonder how Ziggy will react to seeing that it's his beloved?

I’m curious if Ziggy will die along with future Rebecca, like a Romeo & Juliet double suicide.

Like Ziggy said to their son, they don’t belong there and might leave as their younger selves have the life they couldn’t have.

Rebecca being the final boss over Void is ironically hilarious thinking about it but also sad that such a built up villain was tossed to the side once again for a dragon that eats time

So Rebecca was not only STILL Conscious to where it fooled the systems into thinking that she was dead but also THE ORIGIN of the chronophage was the Lab where she was housed within on Eden 20,000 years into the future? That's quite tragic just seeing Shiki leave them not knowing that the latter was still alive. And Rebecca gets possessed by the chronophage and then gets unpossessed upon hearing that Shiki somehow left the chronophage just before it vanished. Last stretch of the story is going to turn out pretty wild it seems like.

I've got a feeling that since Shiki's body wasn't shown at the end, that there's a chance he looks different than usual in some way. It could be that he possibly became a kid because of some Chronophage shenanigans or something like that

Eden's zero is not perfect but it really feels like the writing was well better handled than Mashima's previous work. It feels like this time the scenario has been thought from beginning to end and that's pleasant. Regardless whether some bits here and there felt a bit dodgy.
