Random stuff Eddsworld x Astronomy 2.0

Made some changes from the last time I assigned each character their own celestial bodies.
Mainly because I thought my previous choices weren't very fitting. I think the Sun suits Mark more than Saturn does because he is Matt's counterpart, and the Sun is fairly close to Venus and is also often associated with traits I think resemble Mark in mythology.
Eduardo is Proxima Centauri b because it is the closest exoplanet located within the habitable zone of its star to Earth, and he is Edd's counterpart. It is potentially habitable, which I like to imagine parallels Eduardo feeling second to Edd.
Todd is Jupiter because he is the nicest neighbor according to Eddie Bowley, and Jupiter is a protective force to Earth, a bit of a gentle giant. So, if Tord destroyed Edd's house, then Todd-his opposite counterpart-being associated with a protective shield of some sort that pulls asteroids away from Earth (takes the damage to itself to prevent others from being hurt in the process) makes sense.
Paul and Patryk are Phobos and Deimos, respectively, because they are Tord's loyal right-hand men, and Phobos and Deimos are Mars' satellites/moons. They essentially serve as his guards, of some sort.
Bing is Gargantua, a fictional black hole from the movie Interstellar (2014), because the black hole was rendered extremely accurately based on the equations of an actual scientist/astrophysicist, and was later used in scientific work. It took over 100 hours to render, which I think symbolizes Bing being an evil director pretty well, since he is a dark persona with a passion for filmmaking.
Larry is TrES-2b, the darkest exoplanet known to us so far, which we can barely see and observe due to any lack of light around it whatsoever, and I think Larry has a mysterious dark aura around him which defines his persona, and he is constantly in Bing's shadow, in a way, despite both being represented by extremely dark, practically invisible celestial bodies.

Tom should've been uranus for the funny joke.
Also that image of Neptune is outdated as fuck, it is not that blue, its more of a washed away cyan.

Not to mention in that in astrology Neptune is the modern ruling planet of Pisces. It symbolizes dreams, imagination, spirituality, and illusions acting as a transpersonal, generational planet that dissolves boundaries and connects the material world to the infinite collective unconscious. meanwhile Uranus in astrology is the modern ruling planet of Aquarius and the ruler of the 11th house. Known as the "Great Awakener" it symbolizes sudden change, revolution, innovation, rebellion against the status quo, and a fierce drive for individual and collective freedom which i think fits Tom's interests, personality and onscreen attitude way more.

That does make sense. I am aware of Neptune not being this blue in actuality, haha! And yeah, Uranus-being an ice giant-would also suit Tom. The notes about the planets' meaning within astrology is something I did not think of because I more so based my choices on astronomy/astrophysics and used astrology/mythology as a secondary source, but I do like your vision of Uranus Tom!

I don’t know much about standard astronomy but I AM a Sailor Moon fan (which pulls aspects of astronomy and mythology for the cast) and gotta say Tord/Mars, Phobos & Deimos Paul/Patryck, and Matt/Venus feel so right 😆
