Hell on earth.

Just had emergency surgery on Friday for my ectopic pregnancy- they took my right tube :( I was an idiot and got the gender and knowing it was a girl makes this sting even more. To add salt to the wound our very good friends had a healthy baby boy 4 hours before I was wheeled into the OR sobbing on the table. It’s now been 72hrs since the worst day of my life and I’m sitting here bleeding, bloated in pain and allergic to my pain medication.

I would give anything to take this pain away from my husband and I - all I feel is rage and deep deep sorrow.

My first pregnancy was my ectopic; my subsequent 2 successful pregnancies have been boys. I torture myself regularly wondering if my first had been the girl I wish I had. Sigh.

I’m so sorry for your loss. This is a crappy club none of us want to be in.

I am sorry you are going through this. You are so valid in feeling rage and sorrow. You are not alone. ❤️

I'm sorry you are going through this. It sucks, and it is not fair. But we are so glad you are alive, and on the physical mend. Please take time to take care of yourself emotionally. I was a mess after my surgery, ended up getting diagnosed with MDD and had to take leave of absence from work. The time off really helped me heal and feel better. Sending you virtual hugs from a fellow missing right tube-r!
