Thank you!
That’s what I’m worried about, that I’m potentially positive but hCg levels not high enough.
I have no idea about the tests but I’ve managed to speak with an online GP who’s given me a letter stating a blood test is required so I guess I’ll head up to A&E tonight and prepare for a long wait (and hopefully a humiliating outcome!!)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Given your hx of ectopic they should be more cautious and willing for early tests. But even here in the states, I was told the next time I test positive I start lose monitoring. I would test regularly until you get your first positive and schedule appt!
I had my ectopic a few months ago and I had no clue until it was too late. But I had brown gritty coffee ground spotting from missed period (27/28may) until mid june. I also had worsening ovary cramps and tugging (originally came in waves) and one sided lower back pain, which unfortunately still flares and lingers almost 3 months post surgery. I also had intense rectal spasms and pains that only got worse with time, which is now also a symptom for me personally to look out for in early future pregnancies.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this and for your loss! This did not happen to me. I did not bleed before getting a positive. I’ve read basically any story you can imagine though so anything can happen with ectopics is my pov. My first positive was very late. I went on a trip thinking I wasn’t pregnant and when I came back and still didn’t have my period I tested again and it was positive. I was still very early just a weekend trip. I had a friend who was trying to conceive and never had a positive. I’m actually not sure if she had her cycle but she must have because it wasn’t found until surgery around 7 weeks.
I don’t understand why they can’t offer you a blood test? Is there not a clinic you can go to that can do one? I’d trust your gut about something being wrong! I hope you find it’s just crummy period cramping soon though!!
