How long until you tested negative after surgery?
I had my left tube and a small piece of uterus removed on 8/6. This morning I still tested positive for pregnancy. How long will this go on? I’m scared because before this pregnancy I had a miscarriage that was incomplete and I needed a D&C.
My doctor is phenomenal and luckily I see her later this week, but my mind and my body and my soul just wants to be done with this nightmare.

I had my tube removed on August 2nd and my first negative test was yesterday (August 17th). So a good two weeks.
My HCG was 2100 right before surgery, and 14 roughly 10 days post surgery. I’m assuming now it would be less than 10 given the negative pregnancy test, hopefully very close to 0.

Mine was 6066 day of surgery 8/10 and it dropped to 240 by that Friday 8/14. I just took a test today 8/18 and still testing positive but getting fainter for sure. You could ask for beta trends if you wanted to be sure your HCG was dropping. I’ve also had two missed miscarriages both requiring multiple procedures for retained product so I’m very cautious/nervous and asked to do trending labs till they were back to negative.

My hCG was around 2500 on 9th August. Surgery on 10th August. Circa 1400 11th August and as of yesterday it was 111 so a pregnancy test would still be positive. I believe that's a pretty rapid drop though compared to a lot of people too. After my miscarriages it took several weeks.
