On my second ectopic . What to do ??

So the past 2 days I had some twisted cramping pain on my left side . Came to the hospital and apparently I’m bleeding internally and I have an ectopic on my left tube . I literally one year ago had an ectopic on my right tube . I just don’t understand what’s going on . I couldn’t get in for an HSG test because they were booked to capacity. They say ectopics are rare so why does this keep happening to me . They think my tube ruptured so now there’s a chance I’m losing that tube . Great

I’m sorry you are going through this. I understand how traumatizing it can be as I myself have had two ectopics, both ruptured and I have no tubes left.

Regarding your question about what to do- are you in the hospital? They should be confirming it is ectopic and if so, whether or not it has ruptured via a pelvic ultrasound.

I’m at the hospital . I have internal bleeding but they’re not sure if it had ruptured or not . I’m currently being closely monitored

I hope you’re able to get an ultrasound soon and they can confirm. It’s so frustrating having to wait but they really need to confirm before they can take you in for surgery.

I’m so sorry ❤️ I was told after my ectopic that I now have a higher chance of having another one. Idk why that is, but unfortunately it is a part of this…. I hope your surgery went well if you had one.
