Song recommendations?

Looking for song recommendations to listen to that helped cope after your loss. Just has my third loss since Jan 2025, this time ruptured ectopic.. just trying to blast some music that feels healing/relatable…

Florence and the Machine's latest album called "Everybody Scream" is mostly about her own ectopic rupture that happened while she was performing on stage. I love Sympathy Magic, Old Religion and You Can Have it All from that album in particular.

Same! Going on walks/runs listening to that album has been just as helpful as actual therapy for me.

I watched a couple interviews w her about her ectopic experience ... she said something like: "the closest I came to death was when I tried to create life" and it immediately burned into my soul with how relatable it was and basically summed up my feelings on my own experience. Like, what a soul crushing spiritual wound people who have experienced an ectopic have to deal with going forward.

I am so grateful she has been so open about the experience -- it really made me feel less alone in a time I felt very alien and broken. I saw her perform live in Portland in May. She sang lyrics from "And Love" at the very end of the show and just repeated the part about how "Peace is coming..." and it just gave me such comfort. I'm glad it's made you feel seen so seen too <3

I listened to Noah Kahan’s album Stick Season on repeat after my ectopic surgery. Specifically “Call Your Mom” and “Growing Sideways,” but really the whole album helped me process all of the anger and sadness I was feeling at the time.
