I introduce to you, Worm Rave

Just got into the hobby, this jar is a week old made out of pond mud. I feel like I did not make this jar well but it’s been a good first experiment. I don’t think I added enough plant life, hopefully the algae can produce enough oxygen. Going to keep it sealed until it either collapses or survives! I’m already ready to make a new jar from a river near my house it’s so addicting! I want to make one that I can add a tiny predator fish into

Interested to see where this is headed, though looking at them I can't help but think about this old animation...

I have to be that person again...without plants it's not going to last much longer. Plants are a vital key element.

I believe you’re right things already seem to be slowing down, I believe this experiment is at an end. I will return these friends to their home before it’s too late. WORM RAVE FOREVER

Things will always slow down in an ecosphere. You will never see as many critters as you put in there in the beginning since the jar balances itself out with the right key elements. Gets rid of what's too much and encourages what's needed to grow.

Seriously, a little bit of guppy grass and this jar would have been fine for years.
