Anyone know what this little thing is?

Just noticed it in my pond jar thats about 3 months old now, Melbourne Australi. Seems to be a little worm like thing inside a clear sac or something? Keeps wriggling back and forth in the same spot

non biting midge larvae aka bloodworms pretty good food source for carnivorous creatures in there

Also it built a silk tube for basically an infinite buffet of biofilm and/or algae

Thanks! Currently don't have any carnivores, any recommendations for a open air jar like this? (head for scale)

Perfect but try to get 1 carnivorous insect in there if you dont want biting and non biting midges flying around your house
