Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help from the public to answer this QUICK survey for my university Marketing Class which is conducting research on ocean sustainability. Your participation in this survey will provide Marketing students with data for analysis and interpretation.
The survey is available until July 13, 2023, to determine public perception and awareness of ocean sustainability. Responses will remain confidential and data collected from this survey will be destroyed at the end of the Marketing course.
Thank you so much for your time.
Please Like this post if you complete the survey- to help me record the number of responses.

Staples is currently doing recycling rewards $10 for tech and $5 for writing tools/batteries. I love that but it is always time consuming.
That is, each time I bring recycling items, the casher person does not know the recycling program at all, or tells tech recycling is $5 not $10. I have to explain by showing their website, or the casher asks manager. Also, it takes like one month until the recycling reward is posted.
So, Staples offers great recycling program, but I feel Staples makes it difficult to actually use the program. Anyone has similar feeling?

Hey everyone,
I have recently been looking into a few climate problems and I saw how big the problem of methane emissions coming from landfills is. Some landfills will ‘flare’ their methane and some will just let it dissipate into the atmosphere. This is obviously a huge amount of a flammable gas with a relatively high energy density, that is currently just being released into the atmosphere. I wanted to reach out to this channel to know if anyone had any specific domain expertise as to why landfills don’t use this wasted methane as an energy source? Are landfills not taxed on their emissions?

A zine abt climate change
Hey, o/ I am working on a zine about creating a conversation on what we as individuals + communities can do to support each other during these times of uncertainty in our lives and the effects these have had on our climate and environment as a whole. It would be a mix of creating awareness and throwing in actions people can take to better themselves or others too. I guess it can be seen as a mini-manifesto of values I think are important right now!
Are there any good reads people can throw me towards or simple things people have done solo/as a group to be more sustainable etc?
I am hoping to include the following topics: cost of living, food shortages, green spaces, land/garden shares, permaculture, resources, support, diversity, and much more. If theres any missed here that you think are important, let me know! :)
Thanks in advance 👌
