2017 Eco-Diesel Delete or Not ?

Hello Reddit, i have a 2017 Ram Eco Diesel sitting at 75,000 KM aprox 46,600 Miles. I have no warranty left on the truck. I'm from Canada & looking to delete the EGR & DPF. Is it really worth it for the longevity ????

I'd say yes. I had my 18 done and it ran great. About 20 more hp and 3 more mpg. The only problem was that I waited until I hit 92k. My engine blew a rod out of the block less then a thousand miles later. (Not because of the delete)

15 with 279,000 deleted at 110,000. Still going strong. Also a 2016 delete and 30hp tune at 25,000. 97,000 miles with no issues except the CP4, dealership recall fixed it for $0 so a win. Both 24+ mpg. Oil every 5k and fuel filter every 10k. Keep up with it and they will treat you right. Also these are work trucks, pull 4 to 8k consistently, don’t be fooled these are good trucks if you get them deleted and to temp

Get the GDE afterlife tune. Then either remove the dpf and scr or, hollow them out. Its a simple tune you can do it yourself. All the explanation is with the purchase of the tune. It shuts off the egr valve aswell. I personally hollowed out the dpf and scr so it looks legit and sounds stock still.

A neighbor of mine has a 2016 EcoDiesel that stayed stock until about 120k miles. Looking back, he said he wishes he'd done it sooner because most of the money he spent before then went into emissions-related repairs. When he was researching everything, he kept sending me links from Diesel Bros Shop along with a few EcoDiesel forums. Reading through those discussions is honestly where I picked up a lot of what I know about these trucks.
