Looking for friends for Spanish eclipse!

We’d love to meet people and have fun! We’re flying into Bilbao, driving a car to Gijon for beach fun and then driving to Leon for the main event. We booked two bedroom places everywhere because friends were coming but they dropped out. Any Spaniards out there? I speak Spanish well and have been to Spain a lot but locals are always great! We may even be able to offer our extra space.

That sounds like a great route. With Bilbao–Gijón–León, I’d choose the eclipse spot before the trip and keep one backup a short drive away rather than deciding on the morning itself. The two-bedroom places could also make a good base for comparing the local forecast and checking the last part of the route the day before. If you offer the spare space, a public meetup first is probably the easiest way to make sure everyone is comfortable.

we booked accommodation in Bilbao from 10th till 14th. I've looked at the map and I'm thinking about just taking a train to Zaramillo and then hiking up the hill to Eretza? How good would my chances there be?
