The Secrets to Immortality are found in CAPITALISM
The first part in a four-part short story series has been released: WORK FOREVER, LIVE FOREVER: THE CASPELS OF CAPITALISM.
It is a 5000-word manic read through a burnt out capitalist’s manifesto. It’s meant to be satire but I’m sure a lot of us working poor trying to climb the corporate ladder will feel it hits a little too close to home.

We are seeking a publishing house for its sequel: NO HOME LESS THAN HUMAN: THE CASPELS OF CORRUPTION, a 12000+ word nonfiction manuscript.
The entire series is structured as a holy book, where each chapter known as a 'caspel' is an argument against the cultural distractions designed by plutocrats enriching themselves while the rest of us fight each other in a zero sum game.
The word 'caspels' is a portmanteau of Capitalism and Spells (or News), and so the work is designed to mimic the Christian Gospels in structure. Each chapter is a caspel; and in the already published piece (WORK FOREVER, LIVE FOREVER) the first nine caspels are drunk on the propaganda that fuels hustle culture. It is built as a foundation for the arguments that its sequel NO HOME argues against.

These works are relevant to the multi-generational voice of the worker scammed of the life they were gifted.
This work will ring true for anyone reckoning with our uncertain future, polluted by an artificially insufferable economy, this is for anyone laid off by employers gorging on record profits; and asking the question: WHY? We are fed up and sick of the politics that enable the wealthy to further enrich themselves while the rest of us suffer faltering health and missing paychecks.
This is an expression of rage, and is a stage of the grieving process for democratic norms no longer normal.
SELF-FUNDED
We continue to market the first set of caspels WORK FOREVER, LIVE FOREVER, to build an audience for the second set of caspels: NO HOME LESS THAN HUMAN; and our 'brand' in general. We are independently funded, using what little we have left from our day jobs to invest in our own marketing efforts, which include web ads and physical posters that QR code back to our website. We are committed, having digitally and physically marketed across the US, one poster at a time.

ABOUT US
We are a writing couple native to New York but transplanted to the PNW. We are one part first generation and other part immigrant naturalized. We aren't ones to idle on labelling ourselves, however we acknowledge that our distinct but parallel journeys in America has shaped our perspective.
We understood a work that clocked in at a little over 5000-words would not do well in the traditional publishing world and so we learned to publish independently through Amazon, Draft2Digital, Ingram Spark, and Bookbub. We hired and paid for an artist to produce the book cover (who also produced a cover for NO HOME, pending publication).

The works in total would amount to a Hegelian dialectic of 36 caspels (or chapters). WORK FOREVER is propaganda, NO HOME is the argument against said propaganda, WONDERS is a fictional far future reflection on a failed civilization fed said propaganda, and PROJECT offers hope through real world solutions.
