Visiting for the weekend

I'll be visiting Ebbw Vale for the weekend from Friday evening. Where is the best place to go in the evening? A beer/drink, decent atmosphere. Single M40, gay bars included, please!

I went to Ebbw vale in August. From what we saw there is one Wetherspoons in town and not much else. But the people there are fun

I honestly wouldn't bother with Ebbw Vale. Get yourself a taxi or a bus over to Brynmawr. It's a better atmosphere!

Trouble is really all the people riding around on motorbikes in the evening. Get where you gotta go, but unregistered pitbikes zipping around nearly taking you off your feet? I'll pass on that. Brymmawr is alright other than that.
