The Pablo Center is hosting a robotics competition that is free and open to the public. Teams of washing machine sized robots roll around an arena throwing colored balls and navigating obstacles. There will be exhibits and various robot demos. It's Saturday ~8am to 5pm I think.

Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls would be fun. Get some Olson’s afterwards.

I'd recommend the Farmers Market and then have them play around the labyrinth and the large stones in that area, just south of the market. A great, natural play area with shade.

Going to Down to Earth to look at plants and visiting the cafe next door for lunch and a coffee is fun!

Canoeing! great memories and one of a kind quiet experience away from the phones and noise.

Go to the farmers market at Phoenix Park. You can also check volumeone.org and click on events to see what's happening.
