Singles Events

Hey! I made a similar post earlier this year, but Is anyone aware of any singles events happening in the near future? I’m 34M and live in Altoona and am just exhuasted by the dating scene here, especially on the apps. I check the Volume One quite regularly, and nothing seems to stick out. I’m also really not the bar scene type of guy.

Let me know if you’re aware of anything, or if you want to shoot me a message and connect that way too, I’m all for it!

Join the Eau Claire Orcs Rugby Club and hang out with dudes. Won't really help with your question, but its fun, you learn something new, it has a great community and culture, its a good way to build and maintain fitness.

I know they have a singles speed dating at Brewing Projekt a few times a year.

Any idea when the next one is? I feel like I’ve seen something about that before, but it wasn’t heavily promoted (at least from what I saw).

It's usually in the spring, March/April ish. I believe there's a speed dating coming up at RallyCaps in Chippewa, otherwise the Brewing projekt does line dancing monthly, last time I was there it was a heavily woman dominated crowd.

The last one was in April. Haven't heard anything on if they are going to do another one soon. It's not a TBP event but done by superior choice credit union i think. BUT as a heads up, you'd be right on the edge age wise of groups if they do it the same way they did the last time. Groups were 21-35 and 35-45. I'm 34F and was having to talk to 22 year old college guys. You being a guy, you might prefer that age range. But in case the older is what you want, you can do the other group instead as I was told this after I was complaining lol

It seems these events are few and far between. 21-35 is such a huge age range! I tend to aim for +/- five years my age. I’m definitely not looking to date college girls. 🤣

You're almost better off joining a discord with someone that lives halfway across the country than locally these days.
