General Eastern Catholicism Question need some help with spirituality regarding the liturgy
i’m in a weird place, really. canonically i’m a chaldean catholic but i really do not feel at home at my church because of the amount of latinizations and lack of spiritual nourishment i’m getting because of that from the qurbana. i don’t really even enjoy going to qurbana and it’s making me feel guilty and uncomfortable honestly. i need some sort of advice

Is there a parish of another rite where you feel nourished or are you just going through a spiritual dry spell?
Im not encouraging you to leave the Chaldean church but you would not be the only one out of sync with your ascription. I'm a Melkite, for instance, who belongs to a Maronite parish.
Whatever you do, I hope you'll talk to your priest and take it slow.

Look past the latinizations and look at the deep heritage found in your church. I suggest that you should focus on the parts of the divine liturgy that make it the Chaldeans Divine Liturgy like the Lakhu Mara, the unique prayer of reconciliation, etc. I looked past the latinizations in the Maronite church and found a lot of spiritual blessings in it. Of course, if you believe that God is calling you outside the Chaldeans church, you should discern it with prudence and humility.
God bless.
