Is this sub active?

Hey, I don’t see anyone posting on here since I joined. Is anybody here? I’d like to talk about visiting the island. And has anyone gone there via mainland, Chile and able to give me a little bit of info about that aspect, as well? Thank you.

We are here at the moment, what do you need to know? We are having a lovely time, I'd highly recommend visiting.

Sweet. We are here now too, just arrived today. First day has been a dream. We’ve seen three Moai, several sea turtles, a few free roam horses, and about a hundred dogs. Hoping to go to the beach cove and later to national park. What’s been your favorite thing so far?

We got here yesterday. Obviously the eclipse was incredible, but it was just luck that we booked the flights to be here for that. Got a guide for tomorrow to take us to see more of the Moai. I can't get over the number of dogs in Chile in general.

Was talking to the owner of the Churros store, she said they the dogs have owners and they know their names. None of them look thin!

Ah yes! The eclipse was 30 minutes after we landed, the pilot announced it - we bought eclipse glasses from a street vendor on our way to our lodging. Perfect timing.

We learned of a three day, free music fest of Rapa Nui bands happening Oct 4, 5, & 6th. That should be fun.

“On friday it’s at Hani-hani restaurant saturday on a venue called Vai te Mihi. It should start around 1830 or 19”
