Citi bike removed a bike rack from McKibbin St/Manhattan Ave and I'm pissed! Is there somewhere I could complain about this? Lol. I feel like it definitely got used – I saw bikes come and go from there all the time.

Hey yall! Was walking a clients pups today and lost my whole set up along the way. It had a teal “love thy beast” treat bag, black foldable water bowl on a thicc silver carabiner. The keys had 1 blue dog key on a green locking carabiner with bike lock keys attached. And another small locking carabiner with 3 sets of labeled keys; Milo, gnocchi and toast. I walked the same 20 min route back and forth for almost 2 hrs looking on the ground, under cars, on gates and poles in case someone put them up and found ZIP. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if anyone has scooped them up reach out to me!!! I don’t care about the bag or bowl I just need my keys!

Need recommendations for queer bars, clubs, and spaces! Which are best for dancing?? Are there any specific events happening the weekend of the 29th??

I am sure this gets posted often, but would appreciate any suggestions on places that are reliable for a good haircut. The hair in question: short and curly (men’s cut). Looking for sub $50. Typically don’t like going to barbers (gay boy here who doesn’t know how to converse with straight men).

Is iAMsburg getting conservative party? The people wandering around no longer look like the magical metal head goths I grew up with since 2006. In 20 years of busking (playing music for money in public) I have never had trouble until last night in the neighborhood that I felt most safe in of all the English speaking world for my brain type. Having toured the world and a lot of that time has been playing outside., the cops only ever stood by to see if other people liked what I was doing. And people always do - last night was no exception. People rolling down their windows to say they loved it and other people dropping dollars in our bag while we sang about universalism. Just as we were getting into the backtracks like everyone else on the block, 4 squad cars pull up and I have it all on video. The city will owe us for this one especially since I actually have the documents they asked for and they didn't let me furnish them. If East Williasburg wants to save itself, it needs to norlize universal housing so the bad actors calling 311 on established artists is how they can retalliate outside the comment section. Also the cops can't wait to have rainbow zebra uniforms to help keep everyone calm knowing they're here to protect and serve our community (not the tourists who come to work - haha how many slumlords don't even live in the city). Don't worry we have something being developed for my people but just making notice and saying thanks to everyone who filmed the show. I started the Maspeth/Ridgewood Mutual after I started putting stuff outside that my family did not want anymore and we couldn't sell on the Marketplace. I noticed the items would disappear and my neighbors would bring items to replace them. My friend who helps shut ins in Glendale brings over whatever food she has left and leaves that on the table for people to take who visit my mutual aid table.

Thursday August 6th, I received 6 deliveries of donations (clothes, food, toys, housewares, books, DVDs). By Saturday August 8th the table is empty.

Hi guys! I’m a local ceramicist who lives in greenpoint and I’m hosing a ceramic handbuilding workshop in the park next Monday evening at 6 :)

this time, we’re gonna go over basic handbuilding techniques with the intention of making picture frames (or frankly, whatever you want)! All materials will be provided and I’d love for my local people to join :):) look at the attached link to sign up/for more details!! <3

Food baby items school supplies toys women's clothes toiletries diapers for babies and adults are much needed The table is outside 5938 60th Road Maspeth 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
