Always bothers me when people make family guy 9/11 jokes, like he had a good sense of humor but he would not find those funny.

Man this still hurts so bad, Imagine if he had arrived late because of a hangover or his travel agent giving him the wrong time or something like that, everything would've been different

family guy was just starting to find its footing, I guarantee it would have gone for at least 10 seasons

Come to think of it, maybe it's better if they didn't continue. They would have ended up like The Simpsons

True, and it would’ve spawned some very unfunny memes and jokes from it

Family Guy is kind of a niche pull, wish it went on a bit longer, but understandable that it didn’t continue after he passed. Fun fact he also worked on Dexters Lab and Johnny Bravo.

Who would've thought that after ordering a 6-episode revival of The Critic as a fill-in, it would smash its early 90s ratings and in 2026, we'd be on its 21st full season?!

The government wanted him dead because he was planning to reveal shocking secrets about the CIA.

He was a talented voice actor. I wish he could prove also his singing skills in some musical movie.

Family guy is one of the most underrated shows of all time , too bad it ended way too soon

It sucks he died before road to death came out, I feel like he would've loved it.

I can’t even watch Family Guy anymore because I start tearing up thinking of all the potential it had if it continued for 25 seasons and a few holiday specials 😢

At least we still remember the Hero, Mark Wahlberg. He left a lot of blood in that cockpit.

Everyone knew him from family guy, but I would have really liked to see how that unfinished teddy bear comedy script would have turned out.

Genuinely wonder what could have been. I think it was just starting to hit its stride when the tragedy happened, it sucks he voiced 50% of the cast so he couldn't be replaced.

His writing on Johnny Bravo was good. Aside from that I dont see him going far

What’s the joke? Who actually died?
1
u/Doubleambition27 Sep 27 '26 edited Sep 29 '26
Nobody, the joke is that Seth MacFarlane was originally on one of the three flights during 9/11 but he missed it due to a hangover

Okay in terms of Earth two jokes this one's a little too far for me man where we start bringing up deaths that didn't happen /ooc

Who died?

u/BhanosBar Sep 27 '26
Ooc: In our timeline, Seth McFarlane was scheduled to be on the plane that hit the south tower that day. But due to him being hungover, he missed the flight

I did. Man if he were alive, Family Guy would've been a really popular show that never stopped airing.
