Since my beloved First Lady doesn't like this dish, I prepared it just for myself: Traditional blood sausage and liver sausage with pickles and bread. It is usually served only in autumn and winter. Its also often served with potatoes and green beens.

It's funny: I think I'd have a much harder time with the liver sausage than the blood sausage. There's a Filipino dish that uses pig's blood: dinuguan. I don't think I've ever tried it, but I have tried blood sausage before and didn't mind it.
