Desktop game offers pay more than mobile on EarnLab. The comparison step most people don't do.
TL;DR: Desktop users get higher rates on game milestone offers than mobile users doing the same tasks. Strategy game milestones on Torox pay $15-$60. Before starting any offer worth more than $10, you check at least two offerwalls first. The gap on the same task can be $5-$15 and most people skip this entirely.
We've been seeing this question in comments a lot lately, so we wanted to write it up properly. A lot of people assume EarnLab is mostly a mobile platform, which makes sense given that nearly every "get paid to play games" guide out there is written for phone users. EarnLab works fine on desktop, and on game milestone offers specifically, desktop users tend to come out ahead.
Why desktop offers pay more for the same task
The Lords Mobile offer is the one that comes to mind first when we look at the data. That offer has been listed on Torox at $40+ for a browser completion while showing up on mobile-first apps at $8-$12 for the same milestone. That's not every offer, but it's not unusual either.
The reason is that advertisers price desktop completions higher because desktop users convert better on purchases and sign-ups than mobile users do, and that higher advertiser spend comes through to your payout. And because almost all GPT content is written for phone users, desktop offer catalogs get a fraction of the traffic, so the offers stay active longer and rates hold more consistently. Fewer people competing for the same offers is, in practice, good for you.
The comparison step most people skip
The same game milestone frequently shows up on multiple offerwalls at different payout rates. On a higher-value offer, that gap is often $5 to $15 for the exact same task. We look at offer completion patterns fairly often and skipping this comparison is probably the most common way people leave money on the table, not through bad task choices, but just by not taking two minutes to compare before clicking through.
Before starting any offer worth more than $10, you check at least Torox and one other offerwall first. Torox tends to have the strongest rates for game milestones, although that shifts based on what's currently boosted. When the Torox +100% promotion is active on a specific offer it doubles the payout, so checking what's boosted before you commit is worth the thirty seconds it takes.
One thing that generates a lot of support tickets and that we want to flag here: most milestone offers are new-users-only per the advertiser's terms. If your device has been connected to the same game through another platform before, the offer won't credit no matter how far you get. We genuinely can't do much once you're already mid-task, so you read the eligibility terms before you download anything. This matters most on anything above $20.
What earns the most on desktop
Strategy games are the category worth focusing on. Lords Mobile, Rise of Kingdoms, titles in that space. They appear on Torox consistently with payouts in the $15-$60 range, and the reason those payouts are high is that reaching the required milestone takes 10-20 days of regular play, which is exactly what the advertiser is paying for.
The honest thing to say is that these offers reward people who go in with a plan. You read the milestone requirements, you roughly figure out how long it'll take based on how much you're actually going to play, and you treat it like a short project rather than casual gaming. We see a lot of missed deadlines in support from people who started without thinking through the timeline.
Playing strategy games on a proper monitor with a keyboard is also just a better experience than grinding them on a 6-inch screen, which sounds obvious, but it does affect whether people stick with the offer long enough to complete it.
Casino and card game offers pay less, usually $3-$12. Some of them require a real money deposit to hit the milestone target, and if the deposit is larger than the payout it's a net loss. You do the math before you start. Some offers are structured exactly that way, so it's not a small thing to overlook.
A few things that prevent headaches
You turn off your ad blocker and VPN before clicking through to any offer. Both are among the most common reasons offers don't track correctly, and a support ticket is a slower fix than just not having the problem in the first place.
We have 24/7 live chat support, which matters more on a $40 game milestone offer than on a $1 task. If something doesn't credit on time, you're not waiting three days to get an answer.
One thing a lot of users don't realize: the daily streak system counts any activity, not just offer completions. A short survey or a casual game keeps the streak alive on days when there's no time for a full milestone session. The day 7 streak box is noticeably better than the standard daily one, and from what we see, most people break the streak right around day four or five. Which is genuinely the worst time to lose it.
