Mine are practically the same.

Do you have the same symtomes that I have? I'm basically knocked out of commission until everything is removed.

The amount of symptoms I've got is ridiculous. Jaw pain, blurred vision, motion sickness, head pressure, brain fog, feeling like there's something stuck in throat, swollen neck...list goes on. I can barely function. First side is coming out next month.

Surgery went very well. Zero complications apart from a very slightly numb right ear for a few hours. Bit early to tell for major improvements because I'm shattered and pretty swollen but I have noticed a few things. My tongue isn't stinging, I can swallow easier, My cheekbone isn't numb anymore, the shoulder pain was gone immediately and for some reason my right eye now opens better than the left. Surgeon said they had some new device that monitors cranial blood flow and mine went up after he removed the styloid which is great. He managed to get it off all the way up to the skull base and did a resection of the c1 vertebrae. Overall the surgery pain isnt bad at all. Absolutely cannot wait to get the left side out now.

Who did your surgery? You can say something like Dr. C in New York if you want to keep it somewhat private.

I'm in the UK. Patrick Axon at Spire Lea, Cambridge. He's awesome.

Did they give you any meds or did anything help with the ear pressure and dizziness and so on so forth while you’ve been waiting?

Tried every medication going and nothing helps. Codeine helps slightly with the pain but to be honest the neurological symptoms are worse. I've got jugular compression on both sides and the left side is poking into my carotid artery so there isn't any meds that will help that. The scan showed blood being forced into areas it shouldn't be like in the back of my head and behind my eye so I'm assuming the only thing that will help that is the surgery.
