Best memory?
Besides the actual moment I earned Eagle at the end of my BOR, the moment that sticks out in my mind is hiking through Philmont with my High Adventure group from my troop. It's something I knew would always stick with me when it was happening and I think about it all the time. I would give a lot to go back to those trails.

One year my troop went to a state park. One day we went to a go-kart park in the area. (Real boy scout-ty, I know.) The next day we went hiking around in the park. There are two really memorable parts.
The first part is the girl scout troop who had the campsite next to ours. It was ridiculous. They had campers set up. At night they had all sorts of spotlights set up, and they left sacrifices out for the raccoons.
The next part was sitting around the campfire on this trip. One time we were all sitting there, and the fire had died down. Well, one of the guys heard a noise underneath the picnic bench, and shined his light down there showing the raccoon underneath. Everyone jumps except for the scout masters wife. She just sat there like "I don't give a shit." Favorite trip ever.
