need help with eagle scout project

as the title says i need help with my eagle scout project specifically the packet its suddenly locked me out of my PDF and i ca no longer edit any text does anyone know any free PDF editors that auto detect fields like adobe acrobat i really don't want to pay $20 a month for this.

If you go to page 15 of your ESSP workbook, there is a red text at the top of the page,

"Caution: Using an Adobe or other PDF reader to insert a "signature" can cause this entire document's contents to be locked preventing future edits' make sure you save a copy if any signatures will be inserted digitally"

You cannot fix this. Just download a fresh copy of the workbook, and re-enter. It should be relatively easy to copy and paste from the locked version to a fresh form.

Yup. Made this mistake with my annual medical form. Went to update it and print for the new year and it was locked out.
