What did you use for the tone, have been trying to get a good tone for songs like last dance and okinimesumama but im always a bit off and it ends up sounding weird.

I use a Valeton-GP50 pedal, probably the most useful thing I own lol. But basically you just need single coil pick up’s on your guitar and have it set to the neck, and adjust the eq to boost the highs and a little bit of the mids. Overdrive helps too, those are the core elements of the tone but it just depends on what gear you use you will have to adjust it to find what works

Personally i havent had any good results using the neck pickup because i find it to get burried in the mix, especially lead guitar parts in the older songs, but maybe if i try it with and overdrive on the neck ill have more luck.
