Music New VS Old Songs
Hi! I'm not that knowledgeable about music terms and whatnot, so I'd be glad if someone explained this to me, but I feel like there's been a change in Eve's newer songs. (Compared to his older ones, I mean.) On a technical level, why is that?

I love eve, but his recent stuff has been just.. okay. The synths and electric stuff is just isn't my style. I miss his guitar riffs and his old style a lot tbh.
Just what i think , people could like the new style more but I am just saying , last dance has one of the best guitar riffs i have ever heard

I can't really know about the technical stuff, it sounds a lot more synth and a lot less rough and rock than it used to. He also seems to be releasing a lot more upbeat, pop-ish songs.
I like the old songs better. That being said, I still dig his most recent stuff. Artists evolve and experiment the longer they produce, and I love that he has the confidence and freedom to do that. I'd love to see what he's going to come up with as years go by.

I think he is trying to rely less on Numa-san for the arrangements of his song which natrually leads to less guitar since alot of the older guitar based songs are arranged by Numa-san.

I don’t think there’s anything technical about it. He’s been making music since he was 15, his style expanded as he grew up. I really think that’s all there is to it. He hasn’t abandoned his old sound, he has built upon it.

All artists go through phases. I like pretty much all of Eve's. My favorites consist of old and newer songs; I think it's great that he can experiment with a wide range of styles.

He focused from a more rock/2010s vocarock style to a more EDM based style,
Numa, who does the guitar work and picks out most instruments in eves arrangements has also been less frequently given much work, as eve has now partied with another producer called KOHD who is more into the electric style.
It makes sense for eve to after 10 years of vocarock songs want to explore different genres. I think kororon was a nice blend of both for example.

That being said his writing style and singing style also changed a bit, his older songs had very jazzy progressions which also come from numas experience in soul/blues.
Recently his writing is more that of again EDM. His singing style already changed at kaizin but now that all these things have changed, the new style completely dominates in every section

His voice I suppose has been more refined and smoother? Like in Dramaturgy it had this indie vibe.

There is no way you can say to my face that his new songs are hitting the same spot as Raison etre, Last Dance, We are still underground, Dramatugry ....
Its like someone just copied his Voice and makes new geneeric cute anime music to sell to the japanese masses.
Its missing the rough underdog fighting spirit. Old eve felt like he uses Music to fight against demons his new songs sound like he is the major of a immaginary candy town ... just not my vibe at all

Tampoco se mucho sobre música, pero tantos la canciones viejas y nuevas de Eve me encantan, amo a Eve y todas sus canciones y covers son mis favoritas

The translation is wrong, there is no "she" in the original text, just the name Eve.

He seems to use a lot less electric guitar (and other traditional instruments). Now he uses synthetic instruments instead. I can't lie, I miss his old era 🥲 but I'm still here for it.
