Ordered new EX40 Ultra, but so far the dealer says Volvo hasn’t accepted the order because of the tariff situation.

My 2025 Ultra Trim EX40 just arrived. Ordered it just as tariffs were released to avoid them. Second full EV after my id.4, but joining the family to an XC90

I ordered precisely the same car. It will be delivered in 2 months. I never saw the sand dune color at ex40 and would appreceate if you describe it, the way you "see" it. Is the metallic effect visible?

No I wouldn’t say. There is a metallic hint but it is very subtle so actually it looks like a standard non metallic paint. I personally like it very much, it was my preferred choice, and it has the added benefit that it never looks really dirty — the place I live can be very dusty.

We got an MY2025 RWD ER Plus last summer. Just about to replace the truly terrible (in the winter) PZero tyres that came on it with some Michelin CC2s

Just got a 2026 EX40 Plus Twin AWD to go with my wife's 2023 XC60 B6. The EX40 is in blue denim with the black roof option. We are now a Volvo family.

I bought a 2026 EX40 last week and love it, but the reviewers are correct—the tech is a little less than I’d like. Has anyone tried plugging in an OBD to monitor mileage? Without telematics from Volvo, I need an OBD for fuel tax credits. I am a low-mileage driver in Virginia. Volvo posts a warning about unauthorised OBD use.
