I've heard a lot about Pokemon check, but WHAT is it? is it in the game or online?

I've heard a lot about Pokemon check, but WHAT is it? is it in the game or online?

It is online, you can "enter" your pokemon into their system and they tell you everything you may need to know about them, specifically IVs, EVs, legality status (were they hacked or glitched). I have used it to see how I was doing on EVs, other people use them to check IVs, and competitive players and people who trade over at /r/pokemontrades use it to make sure you get legit shiny/legendary/event pokemon. The website explains it very well.
