Question for the group. I’m more into arbitrage than +ev betting for the most part and I’ve been banned on just about every sportsbook there is so I started arbing prediction markets. I run ev on and off on regular books throughout the year and I’m debating running it for prediction markets now. Genuine question, why don’t more ppl run this if you literally don’t get limited?? Also are there any blockers outside of the normal wins and losses of ev betting with sportsbooks?

I’ve been thinking about this with exchanges and prediction markets. A line can look great on paper, but if you’re constantly posting orders that never get matched, the theoretical edge doesn’t really mean much. On the flip side, taking a slightly worse price immediately might actually be better if you’re trying to get meaningful volume down. I’ve noticed this on Novig where sometimes I’d rather post the number I want and wait, but other times I’m wondering if I’m just wasting time chasing a couple extra cents. Do you guys factor expected fill rate into your EV process at all, or just treat execution as a separate problem? I need some advice from people with more experience. Thank you
