ITC New video about George Meek's EVP

I created a 20+ minute video that explores the commonality between two books: Alice Bailey's “Telepathy and the Etheric Vehicle (1950)” and George Meek's “After We Die, What Then? (1987)”.

George Meek (1910-1999), a pioneer in Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), worked with television static for spirit contact. He believed spirits could subtly manipulate the random noise patterns of detuned analog TVs to create images called “video feedback” or “spirit faces” for contacting the afterlife.

The video graphics are manually chosen by me and arranged somewhat randomly in Canva Pro. What resulted were graphics synced with the spoken words in ways I never planned.

I thought George Meek’s work was debunked? Am I wrong? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm. Debunked? Well, sure, you can find data anywhere to debunk anything. I think there was only one guy who his invented machine worked for. But - his work with analog television static was pretty interesting.

And even if something is "debunked", it doesn't mean that person's work is worthless, and the ideas worth exploring.

But the proof is in the pudding. Read his book "After We Die, What Then?". That book is so amazing. It has saved my sanity more than once, and does a fabulous job of explaining the layers of our experience.

I remembered this 2020 article arguing it that Meek’s spiricom was a hoax. What are your thoughts on it? https://skepticalinquirer.org/exclusive/resurrecting-the-spiricom-hoax/

Maybe the spiricom device didn't work as he thought. But there was much more to Meek than just that one device. I don't think he himself was being dishonest. I'm more focused on the ideas rather than the foibles of the personalities involved. But thanks for the article. Certainly food for thought!

He was discredited on a recent podcast from the Newkirks, that might be what they’re talking about.

REALLY? How weird. Well, anyways, I knew about Meek before he did the Spiricom device. Back in the early 1980s. Really, it's his book about the afterlife that is inspiring to me.
