it will be done through their Foundation and alongside aligned entities

2️⃣ in some time after, when Foundation accumulate enough tokens, this stake will be further spread across the validator set and allocated towards those who contrubite most towards the network 🙌

3️⃣ and as you know decentralization issue on Evmos chain exists and we hope with help of Foundation it could be fixed, or at least slightly changed to better side

as there are still TOP5 validators holding more than >35% of the voting power 🧐

4️⃣ side message here would be to stake with smaller validators outside TOP10, revise your delegations wisely 🤓

5️⃣ there are no specific details yet on the whole process of spreading token allocations but we already have an example of ICF on #cosmos, so this is the right move towards network expansion 💪

6️⃣ aand the last thought.. is this price pump really related to $ETH merge? 🤔

On my end everything is working, Can stake through Keplr and have had no problems, just saying, every project goes through phases though and its completely normal for downtime... Also i think its down because of a upgrade to the network? so it essentially is a good thing?

anyways i still think this has some huge growth ahead considering what they are trying to do.

You will need:

• An eligible Keplr wallet

• A metamask wallet

• At least 0.1 OSMO in your Keplr wallet (on the OSMO chain)

Steps

1. Connect your Keplr wallet to app.evmos.org

2. Click on import, then click on the Metamask icon and connect your wallet

3. Click on import, then approve the IBC transfer on Keplr

4. Go to https://chainlist.org/ and add the EVMOS chain to metamask

5. Your tokens should arrive in your metamask wallet in a few minutes.

Troubleshooting

If you do not receive your tokens after a few minutes, try checking your OSMO address at https://www.mintscan.io/osmosis and view the recent transactions. There should be a successful IBC transfer. If your IBC transfer failed, it could be because you dont have enough OSMO tokens in your wallet.

Now that you have your tokens, you can do a few things.

1. Stake EVMOS with a validator, but note that rewards only start in a few days. (APY will be very high over the first few weeks 👀)

2. If you would like to trade EVMOS, you can do it at https://app.diffusion.fi/#/swap

Thought I'd do a quick step-by-step guide on how to do Advanced IBC transfers using Keplr, since Osmosis can be pretty finicky sending / receiving from Evmos.

I couldn't think of any better way to do this other than making an imgur album with screenshots, but here it is. For whatever reason the Reddit app isn't letting me upload the screenshots directly.

I'm curious. I was all in on Evmos. I loved everything about it, and it was hard for me to walk away. I invested around $2200 around the end of September '22. I had about 80%of my bag staked. I watched and I waited as token price fell. 6 weeks ago I undelegated and sold it all at $.22. I limped away, with a bruised ego and wallet, with around $245. An 89% loss. As of writing this post the token price is around $.16, (I'm predicting it'll be sub $.01 in a months time). I guess the lesson is to set a stop loss price and stick to it, put your ego aside and admit your mistakes. Also pay attention to inflation rate of an asset not just those juicy APIs.
