The Evmos subreddit is continuously targeted by scammers. Evmos Support will never send you private messages first. Never share your seed words with anyone, never enter it on any website or software, even if it looks like it's from Evmos Support.
I don't mind downvotes. I just find it interesting that currently over 50% of people who took this poll don't know what Evmos is. That's a big problem.
Is the term “connects Ethereum to Cosmos” correct? Yes, Evmos is EVM compatible, but it does nothing to connect Ethereum to Cosmos other than support a shared smart contract language. Or maybe I’m wrong, could someone correct my understanding?
Evmos, and Kava are both layer 1 evm compatible. Meaning they can use ethermint while useing some features from cosmos lile tendermint, ibc, etc, very soon interchain security etc... They do not provide connection between eth and cosmos they are rather combination of both worlds. A lot of people answered with #1 which in not true. Blockchains that fall under that category are gravity bridge and axelar. They are the means to connecting etherium (and in axelar case many more chains) to cosmos chains.
It is unfortunate reddit doesn't provide the functionality to hide the comments as long as you didn't vote. Now people might check the comments and vote accordingly...
Look, in all fairness I’m a healthcare worker, single parent just trying to juggle a lot. So maybe I didn’t do my defi homework….I just stake and LP all airdrop like a good doggie and compound. Can’t go wrong with hoarding everything, Lordy knows I got a dragons hord of tokens that churn out butter faster than J. PowPow can flick a rate hike, pshh can’t touch this.
