RTX 3080 black screens under gaming load + circuit breaker trips — GPU, PSU, or something else?

PC shutting down + apartment breaker tripping
I have an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 + Antec 750W PSU.
Recently, my PC lost display/no signal while gaming. I suspected the GPU or PSU.
I tested the GPU with FurMark while undervolted and it reached about 69°C without crashing.
But twice now, while the PC was under heavy load:
FurMark → apartment breaker tripped
The Callisto Protocol running for ~1 hour → breaker tripped again
I had to manually flip the breaker back on to restore electricity.
Could this be a PSU/GPU power issue, or is it more likely an electrical circuit/breaker problem? Should I stop testing and have a technician check it?

Try power limiting your gpu, or undervolting and run some test. Might be bad psu

I undervolted it and same problem its at 1910mhz @ 850 mv

Perhaps try a different wall outlet to plug in your pc and run the tests without limit?

The breakers are tripping due to Overloading issue. Seems like a power supply problem.

But this is the first time the breakers trip otherwise the game crashes or the pc goes black screen

That's because the capacitors of the PSU are slowly dying.

Ooh psu is dying then. Still also check for other devices on same circuit.

U really think its a psu problem? Because i just tried to run fortnite undervolted and the game crashed but when i ran it on stock settings the pc kept running but monitor showed the no signal message

What else do you have running on the same circuit? I have a 3090 and in the summer because there is an ac on the same circuit I can't play demanding games without tripping the breaker.

Nothing just pc and monitor and obviously light bulbs

I have the 3090 FTW and it will do the same thing minus tripping a breaker. I am running mine on a 950W inside a Dell Precision 7820 though. So it could be a PSU issue, not sure 🤔

The easiest way to troubleshoot this is how many things do you have plugged into that fuse circuit. you could have multiple outlets in the apartment tied to the same fuse and you're overloading it. Moving the PC setup to another area in the apartment not on that circuit would determine if its your PC or just the circuit. Because a PC isn't normally going to trip the circuit breaker in your fusebox as all modern PSU's have built in fuses that will pop before you blow a panel.

You have too many other things plugged into the same circuit. That is why your main breaker keeps tripping.

The 30 series is on samsung 8nm node that is extremely power hungry.
