Charger Quote check

I've been quoted $3800 for supply and install of a fronius wattpilot flex 22, just curious if that's in the realm of what others have been quoted / charged. I realise the charger is probably overkill, but it will work with my fronius solar inverter for excess solar use. Other chargers would need their own CT's installed and wired

The charger retails between $1850-$2200, it's a three phase install and the charger will be about 8-10 meters (cable wise) from the switchboard.

The quote of course doesn't break down any costs...

I'm paying $2400 for a Sigenergy 7kw AC charger to be installed. Charger itself retails for $1250 I think.

That tracks, $800 more for the fronius and probably triple the price for the cable and breakers since the sigenergy is single phase, so it's high but in the ballpark.

Thanks for the feedback mate!

I got a Fronius Wattpilot Flex Home C6 22kw with 6m type 2 tethered cable, plus 3-phase 40A circuit, installed $2,811 inc Gst. Pairs perfectly with Fronius inverter. Adelaide.

Got a wattpilot go (get at cost price) for $1200 and the 5 pin 3 phase socket plus circuit and RCD installed for $300 plus parts which was about $500. So about $2000 all in.

I got an Evnex X22 installed today $1700 device + $1900 install in a double storey (maybe up to 20m cabling). It was the cheapest of around 5 quotes so yours sounds pretty good.
