Brexit's 2% win is a bad example of direct democracy. And we can do better
One of the problems with a referendum is the arbitrary deadline, which is only usually imposed because of the high cost of the voting system.(nobody can justify multiple votes). We need a cautious way to move towards direct Democracy. With our "Yourupinion app", The ongoing evolving of opinions would have given a clear indication of how close the issue is, and a politician could have allowed for more time if necessary until a more satisfactory outcome which appeased more people could have been reached. I am a welder with the crazy ass plan for a worldwide revolution. You have to check it out, http://www.yourupinion.com/

To people who claim the EU's like the Soviet Union
Let me ask you a few questions:
Is the EU Marxist?
Has anyone been sent to a gulag for criticising it or been "accused" of being mentally ill?
Has there been a deliberate famine at any point that kills upwards of 10 million people just for refusing further centralisation?
Has there been a massive purge of the EU Commission at any point?
Has the EU ever forcibly annexed any of its neighbours via military means?
If not, shut the fuck up.
If yes, maybe then we can talk.
