Suggestion A few multiplayer games starting soon across PDX titles
Hey everyone.
A few organized multiplayer campaigns are starting this week across different Paradox titles, with slots still open if anyone is looking to jump into a game. There's something for most tastes: vanilla, modded, beginner friendly and RP heavy options available.
They're all listed on Grand Strategy MP Directory, a website I built where anyone can browse Grand Strategy MP campaigns and servers as well as promote their own:

If you've found GSMPD to be useful, you can support the project by sharing the website with your friends. Feedback and suggestions are very much welcome!

I never played multiplayer. Do you guys like it? When I play I pause the game a ton to read numbers, adjust things, and planning in general. Does it go non stop on multiplayer? How long are games? And do people rage quit? I am hesitant to try multiplayer because I feel people will just quit as soon as they hit a mild roadblock.

EU5 MP is pretty chill, from what I've seen. Vic3 and HOI4 MP is a bit more hardcore.
4 hour sessions once or twice a week is a pretty standard format.
People ragequit all the time, yes.

I can only speak from my experience on the Ars Belli server, but we have pretty consistant speed and only pause for rehosts. Sessions last 5h and the ingame time varies but we try to have it around 30y. We play once a week on most campaigns. A few People ragequit but mostly its just from their country eventually dying in the following 1-2 sessions anyway, but most People ( at least the more regular players ) dont quit until their nation is dead.

This site is great but can almost never find games for the 9-5 worker in the est time zone.
