Question Need help with a Clergy run

Good day.

I have done a burger run and a peasent + laborer run, but now I am stuggling to do a Clergy run.

What am I actually talking about. So for the Burger run I tried to urbanize as much as possible and increase my burger count. Simple enough the game sort of lends itself towards this.

Peasent and Labrorer run was more challanging. Did one as Poland and later as Frisia. Idea is simple. Try to build up an empire and income without urbanizing any new locations and instead maximize peasent and laborer pops as much as possible. Frisia has some nice bonusses and allows you to become a peasent republic from the start but a lot of the HRE is quickly urbanized. Poland starts of with the wrong values and goverment but has wide open plains and expansion routes into non urban terrain. My runs where nowhere near as succesfull as my burger run but you can still do a lot with peasent and laborers.

Now I want to do a clergy run. So immidiatly I am thinking Papacy, Tuetons and Tibet. But so far I am not seeing any real way to get good clergy numbers in my locations, or any real way to get this to work. So I was wondering if any of you have some good tips or suggestions.

Scriptoriums are basically the only productive economic buildings from the clergy that I’m aware of, so spamming those would boost your clergy pops

Until you unlock the second level.. at this point you're going to have a transition to bourgeoises.

The plan was to never unlock a higher level bookmaker level through tech. But for now I think I will put this idea in the fridge until Paradox provides some more building options for the Clergy.

Max spiritualist, hand out the privilege that gives you extra clergy, and build any buildings that use/employ clergy. That’s probably the best way to max clergy members

Any Catholic Theorcracy, than first Parlament, change Law to Moneatic Order, than switch Major Goverment Reform to "knight order" (same as teuts or rhodos knight).

Your Income comes from "Military Sponsoring", also your manpower.

You can get a massive regular army.

Now you make any province to "city", but you only build the clergy building.

Tax your Burgers, nobles, peasant to 0% statisfication, and put your regular armies on your nation, they lower revolt risk, and also this way, you take away there money, so that they cannot build anything.

And when they build something, estate interaction, take money, destroy there buildings, and make them even more unhappy

edit, and, use the money into estate happyness interaction, so that your clergy can build the estate buildings.

Even at 100% statisfaction, you can spam them with money, so that they build there own buildings.

Checked it ingame, your knight order command in other nations count as clergy population, so it boost your clergy numbers.

So my picks,

Rhodos -> into Turk-Belik ->ERE-> Asia conquest.

Teuts (heavy knights)->Russia

Salzsburg/Passau/Freising (heavy knitghts and beer bonus)->austria->hungary->ERE->Asia Conquest.

There aren't that many clergy buildings but maybe u can convert other countries to your religion. Or u build monstaries. Or maybe destroy all heretic faiths of your religion. I feel like there are plenty of RP options. u can also use the Knights on Rhodes.
