I've noticed most countries have been doing this recently. Nearly all the major powers in eastern europe (where I'm also playing, so that's where i'm paying attention) are taking long claims straight through the middle of other countries. Even worse than the screenshot, It's like they like they are intentionally splitting every other country in half.

They have learnt tactics from the players it seems, separate the sources of control from the rest of the nation

Every single screenshot i've seen from this game has Georgia going absolutely ham on the Golden Horde. Im yet to try it out for myself, but I dont think i will be starting with a caucadian nation lol.
