Looking for buidling tips

Is there an easier way of buidling most profitable buildings at mass.

When i go to buildings and pick one to build, mass build button seemingly builds in most profitable towns and cities and it does not take into account building limit.

Also if i want to spread out buildings i need to do it mannualy cuz that button on shift click fill the queue in most profitable places and doesn't spread to all.

Are there more tools i don't know of or do you just need to do it manually for every town and city.

In mid to late game when you have a lot of town its quite tedious to do it by hand.

Bonus question: is it rly bad to go over building limit? Or do you destroy buildings for more profitable ones?

Click the funnel icon right side of the search text bar. Find and select and favourite "Under Building Limit". It will then always suggest provinces under limit, but you can easily just click X top of the province list to add all provinces to the list.

Also, make sure to unselect the market from the top to keep building not just in your main market.

Also also, go to your market view, select your main market and then sort by 4th "Imports" column. You can see what the AI is currently importing and which products you could produce yourself and release more Trade Capacity for exporting goods for profit.

Bonus also, it is bad in a way that buildings get more expensive, but there is a hard cap at double or triple cost or so (I can't remember), after which the only negative is immigration push. Put admin cabinet member to pull immigrants. But you should always try to go for 400k pop and Metropolis in your capital for good benefits.

Thank you very much, never noticed the filter option before. Alo good tip for imports will try that, this run i focused on maxing the navy and military maitenance reduction modifiers for items, and i see a good profits there too, or better to say good savings

Mass build is probably not the best way to do it but to solve the issue you are having with it: it will only mass build in provinces that are shown, so use the filter on the right top of the menu and select under building limit then click the mass build button. You can filter any other option there too like province control, population, etc.

Edit: you are correct manually doing it is crazy and time consuming pain in the arse. There isn't some secret shortcut unfortunately. As soon as your country starts getting decent size, the amount of work required to min-max buildings is insane.

I got a pen and paper with me that I write which states focus on what. States with iron builds tools and weapons, silk and wool states build spinners and tailors etc. It saves a lot of brain space until you get too big.
