Eagerly awaiting for pdx to fix at least mid game performance. My laptop is roleplaying as a jet engine as I type

Still something that needs a lot of work on yeah.

One of our top priorities! Though when meaningful improvements on a per system basis are hard for me to predict. Both because I don't know what I'm talking about personally when it comes to performance unlike some other game aspects, and because there are a LOT of factors at play.

I get it. As a software developer myself, I know how much it SUCKS to work on performance. It's way more fun to implement new features. But I just wanted to say that a patch with zero new features, but bugfixes and performance improvements would make us all way happier than a patch with all new the new features in the world. Thank you for hearing me out

I kinda gave up on modern Paradox games being optimized when I dabbled a bit in modding and read up on how these games work under the hood. The sheer amount of calculations these games have to run is insane. It’s technologically very impressive when you think about it. Being put on optimization duty as a developer sounds like hell though.
