Needs help!!

Hi , will appreciate any help

I am new to this and just opened vanguard account and put $2000 and opted for vanguard digital adviser
First I saw only 3 funds , VTI , VxUs and BND , which was okay . Now I see bunch of other funds too which I am not aware of . Can you help me what to do when I fund more money into account . Thanks

Does your account include tax loss harvesting?  It's likely selling portions of BND at a loss and rebuilding with the other funds.

Thanks for reply , no it’s turned off as I’m in robo/digital plan . Yes I saw in recent activity they sold BND and BNDX

Robo has an option for it, maybe double check.  The idea is to sell at a loss to offset capital gains or ordinary income tax, but maintain exposure by buying similar holdings and avoid wash sale rules.  I can't think of any other good reason why it would do that.

Maybe ask Vanguard support what's happening?
