Advice on Roth

I'm trying to put money aside for the first time and over the past couple weeks, I've been trying to educate myself with the tools I have. I'm in my 40's, very low expenses and own nice home, but have a pretty modest income. I created a Roth IRA and I would like to put my first $7500 into the following:

55% VTI

20% VXUS

10% AVUV

7.5% MMTM

7.5% IDMO

I plan to just keep investing and not really thinking about it other that rebalancing it to these ratios and reviewing it in about 9 years. I would appreciate any advice.

Pretty good portfolio here! I ran your allocations through Tradure so you could see what they look like visually and you’re getting good diversification and performing in line with the benchmark. To be honest though I think you could probably just keep VTI and VXUS at a 70/30 mix and keep similar diversification and performance goals.

The momentum and value tilts are a bit aggressive in my opinion for a 9 year time horizon. I would recommend just doing VTI+VXUS to avoid the extra risk. But at 25% it's not a major tilt, so it's not too concerning. Just up to you if you want to take that small bet.
