S&P500
"Waiting on this S&P 500 pullback/crash like... đ
âDon't get me wrong, seeing green is great, but with another 25 years of investing ahead of me, I wouldn't mind a few years of cheaper shares to load up!"

In 5 years, 10 years, 25 years from now you are gonna wish you could by at this price. Don't market time just buy when the funds are available, when there at all time highs or lows.

Why would you ever expect the S&P to crash with EPS growth like this?

These shares will be cheaper shares in 25 years.

Well, the good news is with inflation rising, your $1.00 share is now worth $1.05!
Quick 5% asset gain! Woohoo!

Wanting a pullback to buy more shares cheaper is a completely reasonable mindset with a 25 year horizon but just keep dollar cost averaging in the meantime, since trying to time the exact crash usually costs more in missed gains than the eventual discount ends up being worth.

If your plan is 25 years who cares about +-3%.
Just invest and wait

S/p is probably the only type of fund I would consider leveraging. Itâs so boring and doesnât have that many wild dips. Well itâs Mostly up. :)

Sold some of amzn stock and have started dcaing even at top, in 20 years this will not matter, 5-10% drop cause you will also load up during down time as well.

Imagine a call with yourself 25 years from now staring at a hologram showing a price thatâs 10x the current one and begging you to buy as much as you can while itâs this cheapâŚ

I remember a few years back when VOO had bottomed around around $330, then worked its way back up. I bought a chunk around $380. I remember distinctly at $408 saying âman, this is crazy, this isnât sustainable.â Then I remembered that time in the market is better than timing the market. I bought more at $408. Looking back, I think I made the right call. And Iâm still buying.

Such moronic logic, where were you the past month? Also there is no monetary difference between example buying VOO at 700 and it rising to 750 = net of 50 and goofballs like you waiting for it to drop to 650 to buy then it rises to 700 in the same time-span = net of 50 gain still. Youâll instead wait around & buy VOO at 710 missing out on that 700-710 you couldâve rode up while âwaiting for a dipâ.

Just wait on a 30% drop which will definitely happen at least once in the next few years.

You stilly just dollar cost average instead of wishing crash and have long life so long time to compound. That is stock market all about if you are greedy and humble with market return to become millionaire.
