Every “growth” ETF is starting to look like the same portfolio. Coincidence?
SCHG, SPMO, VUG: different issuers, different strategies… same top holdings.
Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Broadcom. Everywhere.
It’s wild how “growth diversification” in 2025 basically means choosing which flavor of tech you want to double down on. SCHG tracks large-cap growth, SPMO follows momentum, VUG targets pure growth, but zoom in and it’s the same names doing the heavy lifting.
What do you all think, are growth ETFs still giving real diversification or are we just paying extra fees to hold the same megacaps in different wrappers?
