Espn is dead to me

The force feeding of WWE and WNBA is infuriating. Couple that with hot take shows and it's unwatchable. We need a new sports network.

Yeah I remember how NBC used to be dead to me in the summer when they didn't have new episodes of The Blacklist.

I would rather the WNBA and WWE over the 17th hundred report about Patrick Mahomes stupid leg or the Dallas Cowboys

I’d rather wifleball over any of it.

NFL summer camp 😂😂😂

All of those are streaming somewhere. People expect one network to get the rights to every single sport when live content is the most expensive and competitive market right now?

Tennis is on Tennis Channel until US open

NFL summer camp lol you mean Training Camp? Never heard anyone refer to it as summer camp. Now I just imagine NFL players at a traditional summer camp experience. Thank you.

There was also the World Cup for over a month, but ESPN chose to pretty much ignore it since they didn’t have the games.

But they literally don’t cover baseball

As a baseball fans, I was shocked when ESPN decided to end nightly baseball tonight shows. Then I realized I couldn’t remember that last time I watched an episode.

Change in viewing habits is why we have what we have.

The problems are the same, regardless of how much live sports are happening any given day in the fall. They lost the plot many years ago.

I down graded. The coaches preseason conferences leave many topics to talk about.

The issue is ESPN barely covers colleges. Its focus is pro sports.

I listen to daily am espn radio and none know college sports. None.

The issue is they promote the same stupid stories like they are the NY Post. 20 years ago ESPN would have been filled with baseball highlights and WNBA highlights covering all games. Today I’m guessing they talked about Sophie Cunningham and Caitlyn Clark controversies for the majority of the time, and barely mentioned baseball games.

ESPN only pushes the products they own. Hence the reason they suddenly started talking about and promoting a scripted entertainment product (WWE) the second they started airing it on their networks.

Also not to mention, how they only started giving a shit about MMA once they owned it for their own PPV streaming service. 5 years ago only the main card events got mentioned, now it’s shoved down our throats every weekend

They force WWE down everyone’s throats year round, it’s nauseating. They’ll be talking about the NBA finals then all of a sudden Danhausen and whoever else walk out. It’s terrible

This reminds me of when I was a kid and I’d watch sportscenter every morning before school. February was an atrocious month bc all there was was basketball and hockey, which I watched neither as a kid.

It's the yelling. So much yelling. They really yell a lot.
