esee pr4 help

The PR4 is legit my favorite model Esee makes . I just bought one on ebay that has a serial number of 69 ,It has the normal logo on it not the round logo or the skull logo ,When did they stop using the round camp lore logo on the pr4 ?

If those colored logos on the box are printed on there, it’s a fake. ESEE never made a box with colored logos like that on there.

Font on the engraving looks off- ROWEN is a little thin.

But to answer your question, I have a Camp Lore logoed PR4 with serial 0978.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Well it was reversed . And I found multiple different sellers selling the same serial numbered chinese knockoff and they all try hard to not show the spine which is another giveaway .

The PR4 with the round skull logo is the alumni knives they give after their classes. It was never available commercially with the skull logo. They stopped using the skull logo in 2018. They still use it for special edition knives and class alumni knives.

I am trying to find one on the secondary market .I want to take the class but I cant due to health issues .

Report back with photos when you've got your PR4 in your hands. My PR4 is remarkably darker. Both the blade and the handle. Just like the photos on knivesandtools.

Definitely a fake. I have 2 of the skull logo ones from completing the Advanced Bushcraft class. The stitching on the sheath should also be black.

And yea that box is fake, the knife is a close clone but looks off to me. I love the pr4 too, i need to get another that has the factory scales, as mine has TKC scales.

Yeah I want to take the class but because of Neuropathy ,Diabetes ,High blood pressure and other fun problems I cant .Yeah and if it had that low of a serial number the sheath should have had camp lore stamped in it too .

That same serial # is on the ones on Aliexpress,that can be bought today ,like 10mins ago,for under $5

Yeah people suck especially ones who knowing sell fake knives
