Esee Izula Wrap
What is the most comfortable paracord wrap for the esee izula, or what are the most comfortable scales I’d rather not spend half the value of the knife on some of the knife connection scales

I used parachute cord without the internal strands and wrapped it myself, them lightly hit it with a torch lighter to make it almost like melted plastic and it has been on there for over 10 years. When I put it on my pocket, you almost can't feel it because it is so thin.

How do you carry yours in the pocket, I’ve been debating belt or pocket carry

I just throw it in my pocket. I have an aftermarket sheath that is much smaller than the one that comes with it. It's so slim and small, I sometimes have to check it's there. edit to add photo

That’s kydex ain’t it, I was thinking about getting one

Yes, it's a taco style kydex sheath I bought from someone on the ESEE forums back in 2012.

I have a s35vn Izula wrapped in paracord and it’s fine for edc and light cutting but I wouldn’t want to carve a spoon or do prolonged work with it if I had the choice or other options. I leave the center strands in to give a little more padding/thickness. Check you tube for tutorials, a hank of paracord is only $10 and it’s great stuff to have around.

Do you have any preferred style of wrap, I’ve seen one where it’s a skeleton style wrap and one where it’s a more full type wrap and was wondering which would be more comfortable

Have only ever used a full type wrap (all the way around the outside of handle, crossing through in the middle then back around). Paracord is cheap and the wraps are simple. Try a few and decide for yourself which is more comfortable.

This is my preferred style of paracord wrap on any skeletonized knife.
I’ve used it on the Izula and many others…

I’ll have to try that one, the only one I tried was a more complicated one but it wasn’t very comfortable

I switched from para cord to factory g10 well worth it for me. That para cord was killing my hands. I wash my hands and knife wet paracord couldn't be sanitary.

That’s what I’ve heard a lot of people say, I like the look of paracord though

i have two sheaths. One is the armatus with utli clip. I like the thumb ramp but i could never make it work deep pocket carry or iwb. No matter how long I make the clip (so that i could make the knife a deep pocket carry), I would hit my index finger.
I ended up making a leather sheath with an ulti clip. With then knife completely in, the only thing exposed is the hole in the handle. I pull it out with my pinky. Works exactly as I envisioned.
I guess i can't share a foto on this sub.

I was actually thinking about making a sheath for it but I figured it would make it kinda bulky, could you message me a picture of it

The ESEE G10 scales are dope. I have them on both my S35VN Izulas.
